Dennis S. Rito born 1972 in Manila, Philippines
Dennis S. Rito currently works as an in-house graphic artist in a manufacturing company. Rito studied photography through night classes in a government school and attended various workshops with recognized Filipino photographers in Manila. He was strongly influenced by the documentary style of photography and his work varies from social issues such as poverty and human rights, to the music scene, culture, and urbanity. Like a pen to a writer, Rito views photography as a means of creative expression – to appreciate, criticize, suggest, or to propose. Recent Work: Bin-i: Stories Behind Coffee, two-man exhibit with Buck Pago (16 December 2007 - 31 January 2008).
