Our video library features short documentaries, interviews, and performance excerpts. Documenting dance meetings, festivals, and projects across the Asia Pacific region, the films were shot on site at tanzconnexions events or created in cooperation with international filmmakers.
In August 2009, for example, German filmmaker Gaby Lingke documented the tanzconnexions Dance Summit: Transforming Tradition in Jakarta with an Indonesian film crew. Enabling visitors to the website to visually explore the diversity of the Asia Pacific dance scene, the tanzconnexions video library showcases dance artists and works from throughout the region, and also offers a glimpse behind the scenes at our workshops and meetings.
