The Teachers' Library for German as a foreign language offers material for German lessons in primary and secondary schools, in the tertiary area and in adult education. German teachers may view and borrow items.
We can offer you:
- coursebooks and workbooks for children, teenagers and adults,
- additional material for the practice of all skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing), as well as information about German culture and other current topics,
- reading comprehension for teenagers and adults,
- songs and games,
- reference works,
- audio-cassettes and CDs,
- videos,
- computer learning programmes (CD-ROMs),
- magazines for German as a foreign language.
A teacher is available on Wednesday afternoons between 3 pm and 5 pm to provide expert advice on all aspects of teaching and learning German as a foreign language. Please send an e-mail if interested to Ms McGuire.
The library will also post material to teachers outside the greater Dublin area. Details of this service on request.
