Testservice für Deutsch (BULATS).

Testservice Deutsch für den Beruf is a language testing service intended mainly for companies. This can be used to classify the foreign language knowledge of employees and applicants quickly, ranging from beginners’ to the advanced level (A2 to C2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

The test examines language skills that will be required at the student’s workplace, such as listening and reading comprehension as well as the ability to express oneself orally and in writing.

The test can be taken in two forms:

• interactively via a computer (approx. 45 minutes)
• on paper (110 minutes)

The test result can be made more precise with two optional modules:

• a written test (45 minutes)
• a spoken test (approx. 12 minutes)
• The tests can be taken any time and at any location once the necessary material has been provided by Cambridge ESOL.
  

Testservice Deutsch für den Beruf was developed in cooperation with the University of Cambridge ESOL, Alliance Française and Universidad de Salamanca under the name of “BULATS” (Business Language Testing Service).
