Planning, executing and presenting a project
Consider the following points:
| Choice of the Topic |
|
 |
- What do you know about the topic?
- Which aspect/aspects of the topic do you want to emphasize?
- What kind of information do you require?
- Do not select a topic which you are not interested in!
|
| Objective of the Project |
|
 |
- Before you start collecting information consider your topic and your audience.
- How much do they already know about the topic?
- Which aspect(s) of the topic are they (and you) particularly interested in?
- What is the best way to present your topic and/or what is the best way
of reaching your audience (i.e. by writing a text, making a video, a poster, a tape, etc.)? |
| How to get information |
|
 |
- Where will I find the information I require? (library, internet, teacher, friends, etc.)
|
| General Advice |
|
 |
- List all the information you want to use in the text.
- Order the various pieces of information so that they follow in a natural progression.
- Try to underline the structure of the text by giving the different parts and subsections a heading.
- Use the introduction to outline the main points of your topic.
- Decide how and when to use your sources (when to use a quote, a diagram, pictures, etc.).
- Keep your audience in mind when you are writing.
- Try to be as clear and precise as possible.
- Check the text for spelling and grammar mistakes before you hand it in.

Do not copy other people's ideas or text. This is YOUR project!!!
