Vrinda Grover
Vrinda Grover is a lawyer, researcher and human rights activist. Grover practices in the Supreme Court of India and has appeared in landmark human rights cases, representing vicitims and survivors of communal massacre, extrajudical killings, custodial torture, domestic and sexual violence, sexual minorities, trade unions, and political activists.

Grover's research and writing probes state impunity for human rights violations. She has contributed to the drafting of laws relating to human rights and social justice. Grover is presently a Research Fellow at the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library in Delhi. She is a prominent commentator in the media and a frequent speaker on jurisprudential issues relating to accountability for violence against women and other marginalized groups.

She graduated from St. Stephen's College, obtained her law degree from Delhi University, and her Master's in Law from New York University, School of Law. Prints of archival booklets, pamphlets, and legal documents (1999-2004) presented in the book The Prediction were made possible from the research and documentation done by Grover for the V. V. Giri National Labour Institute, New Delhi, in collaboration with the Chhattisgargh Mukti Morcha and the Association of Indian Labour Historians. Grover was one of the lawyers representing the CMM in the Niyogi murder trial.
