Our Environmental Week continues with a major and many-sided project.
Firstly, the Zero Waste project will be officially evaluated with a formal press conference where eminent exponent of the Hyderabad Urban Development Authority (HUDa) B. P. Acharya, Metropolitan Commissioner, will illustrate the work of the Hermitage Office Complex in making this a Zero waste Building.
Subsequently, Give Green a Chance, an exhibition of a series of sculptures and paintings on climate change by Manohar Chiluveru, will be inaugurated at Goethe-Zentrum Hyderabad. A series of sculptures and paintings on climate change.

Artist Manohar Chiluveru has been working on the theme of our environment since many years, expressing the concern about it through his art works.
He says about his art: I work on the realm in between spontaneity and preconceived idea, vice versa, it begins with spontaneity, travel through day to day experiences, memories and meet with an idea that refers to the age, that we are living in. At the same time it begins with an idea, metamorphoses into spontaneity travel through moment-to-moment experience of creation and a dialogue within and with material that I use and ends on its Own Detach from “my thing ness.” moreover inviting the viewer to participate.

Manohar Chiluveru:
Artist Manohar has completed his M. F. A. (Print Making) at the Sarojini Naidu School of Performing Arts, Fine Arts and Communication, University of Hyderabad, 1999-2001. Before that, he completed his B. F. A. (Sculpture) (Gold Medal) at the School of Fine Arts, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, 1991-96. He has been awarded various prizes, such as: Hyderabad Art Society 1994, Cash Award for 1996, Hydrabad Art Society. Merit Scholarship for One Year, AIFACS, 50 Years of Independence Day. State Exhibition Awards (1999), Telugu University Hyderabad. His works have been exhibited in India and abroad.
