Professional Development in Germany and Scholarships
Are you interested in developing your career as a German language teacher through seminars at the Goethe-Institut in Germany?
The Goethe-Institut offers:
Professional development seminars for teachers of German at elementary, secondary and university levels and in adult education as well as for teacher trainers
and
Language training designed for teachers of German for general language courses
You are eligible to apply if:
1. You are a Goethe-Institut scholarship holder
The Goethe-Institut offers scholarships to teachers of German in India who would like to participate in the different professional development courses offered in Germany. 
Additional information / application
2. You are a subsidy recipient
This applies to teachers of German and teacher trainers who finance the seminar fees with a subsidy from an institution in their own country (Sokrates, Ministry of Education, etc.). Additional information
3. You finance your own participation
This applies to participants who pay the seminar fees and the travel/accommodation expenses themselves Additional information
We also offer scholarships for professional development seminars held at Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavans in India.
