
The Charpashey – II film competition concluded with award ceremonies and naming of winners from both the countries. The jury decided the winners along with the runners-up:
The Winners from India were Kanwarjeet Singh Arora and Bharat Jain from The Heritage School for their film ‘Food for Thought’ on the topic FOOD.
The Winners from Germany were Nina Henningsen und Getrud Anhalt from Gymnasium Allermöhe for their film ‘The Stew Story’ on the topic FOOD.
The joint Runners-up from India were:
“Skeleton of Beauty – from Dawn to Dusk” directed by Sonali Banerjee on the topic WASTE from Adarsha Balika Shikshayatan
“A Little Thought, A Large Difference” directed by Anhar Arif and Priyanjali Pal on the topic WASTE from Modern High School for Girls.
The Runner-up from Germany was:
“7.00am Breakfast” directed by Julian Lehmann, Dennis Hecht, Gerrit Gerbig, Henrik Gowin on the topic FOOD from Gesamtschule Harburg.
The Winners have won flight tickets to the other country from LUFTHANSA. The runners-up were awarded top quality handycams.
The two Indian winners made their prize trip to Germany in July. The German winners visited Kolkata in October 2009.
