Workshops and Outreach Programm

How would today’s world engage with the work of a poet from another time, another land and language? This workshop invites you to undertake a journey on the sands of time and trigger a process where, starting from a specific text, you re-write/re-image/ re-enact the poem in the contemporary context. This will be a challenging and stimulating conversation with words and images, poetics and politics of another age. The outcome can be in any format – poetry, prose, painting, performance, play, musical composition, or even video installation. During the workshop, you will create a presentation of the outcome/image/idea of the contemporary version of the earlier text. This workshop will trigger a process that will not end with the workshop, but will be a starting point in an exploration of different variations in different formats.
