Seven years after I had left Bangalore, I took the life-altering decision to return home relying entirely on what the magazines were telling me. The comeback, however, was so overwhelming that photography became a way by which I reconciled myself to the new life ahead of me.
I am currently working on a series of photo documentaries to express my very personal experience of rebirth in Bangalore. In this series, I piece together the portrait of a typical new middle-class neighbourhood (mine) by observing the relationship between residents and their built environment.
