On 10th September the artists Helena Schätzle and Sudharka Olwe will present their photo exhibition "Gefärbte Welten - Coloured Worlds" at Cymroza Art Gallery, Mumbai.

Helena Schätzle, born in 1983, has done many different photo essays about the different cultures she experienced and mostly concerning social issues. Since 2003 she is working as a freelancer photographer for different newspapers, agencies and magazines e.g. Brand Eins, Spiegel-online, Südkurier and Medio.

Her work has also been shown in the publication Backstage in 2007 and women against violence in 2008.

Sudharak Olwe, born in 1966, has published cutting edge photo essays in India’s leading publications for the past 16 years. Last year he was honoured with the prestigious All Roads Photography Award from National Geographic which included an exhibition of his work on street workers of Mumbai in Los Angeles, California and Washington DC.

He is currently heading the Photography Promotion Trust (PPT), Mumbai, it aims to support, showcase and encourage the use of photography as a powerful tool for social change.
