The Role of Information and Knowledge Management in Conflict Resolution
In the course of the elections in December 2007, Kenya experienced one of its biggest crises since independence. Conflict Resolution is therefore a crucial topic among the Kenyan society. But what is the role of public libraries in this important issue? The Goethe-Institut Nairobi chose this question as the theme of a conference organized in conjunction with Kenya Library Association (KLA) in June: The Role of Information and Knowledge Management in Conflict Resolution, Peace, Justice and Reconciliation. The papers presented at this conference have now been published in a book.
