Our latest bilingual Reader of Contemporary Malaysian and German Poetry TAUTAN - Verknüpfungen was launched on 30 Aprilduring the Malaysian Book Fair in PWTC by Institut Terjemahan Nasional Malaysia (ITNM) and GI Malaysia. The Launch was officiated by Prof. Emeritus Dr Muhammad Hji Salleh, one of Malaysia's National Poet Laureates. TAUTAN can be purchased at ITNM and Goethe Institute for RM30. In 2011 the Goethe-training-group of translators - together with the South-East Asian Institut at the University of Frankfurt (Holger Warnk and Hedy Holzwarth) and the Malaysia Translations' Institute (ITNM) is working on "Berlin-Kuala Lumpur", another bi-lingual publication with recent literary and documentary articles on the two Metropolitan Cities; photography, art and blogs will also be integrated into this Reader.
The next translators' meeting on 25th/26th February in the Raintree Club will finalize the manuscript of "KL-Berlin" which is planned to be launched during the Malaysian Book Fair (26th-29th April, 2012).
