Copyright: Beta FilmChristian Schwochow was born in 1978 in Bergen on the island of Ruegen, East Germany. As a child, he was involved in numerous radio plays and was the young publisher and editor-in-chief of the youth magazine SHOT!. After finishing school he worked as an author, speaker and reporter for various television and radio broad-casters, followed by studies from Film Directing at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Film Academy. 

His feature debut "November Child" had been the surprise success of 2008 not only in Germany but also at International Festivals around the world.
