The Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst or the German Academic Exchange Service provides funding for undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students, artists, interns, scientists and academics to study or do research in Germany.
DAAD sponsors short and long-term individual scholarships, study visits, and research grants for students and academics of all fields. We offer over 250 scholarship programs in the fields of Architechture, Fine Arts, Music, Performing Arts, Agriculture, the Natural Sciences, Public Administration, Medicine, etc.

APPLICATION PROCESS
Scholarship applications in the Philippines should normally be submitted to the German Embassy in Makati. The documents and papers typically needed for application are
- the completed application form,
- an authenticated photocopy of your high school diploma,
- authenticated photocopies of university certificates or diplomas plus a transcript of records,
- a proof of German language proficiency or TOEFL/IELTS certificate (for international degree programs),
- a CV, motivation letter, and for some programs a study/research proposal
