Boris Sieverts has been working for months on a series of one- and two-day tours of Warsaw and its outskirts. In the process, he is getting to know a city with multiple riddles, with a make-up that he can only partly understand, and with an uncontrolled growth that fascinates him. Grzegorz Piątek, architecture critic and city researcher, is probably the greatest authority on Warsaw of his generation. The author of a guidebook, he is also one of Sieverts’s most important “informers”. The two of them to explore the city and its structures through a virtual sightseeing tour with Google Earth on the film screen and by projecting photographs from their archives. They give an account of their discoveries and experiences and whisk the audience away on a fascinating journey through space and time.
