Igor Savchenko born in 1962 in Minsk, where he lives and works.
- 1980–1985 Studied cybernetics and automatic control systems at the Belorussian State University of Information Science and Radio Electronics.
- 1985–1991 worked as an engineer.
- Works as a freelance photographer since 1991.
- In 1994 started writing texts and prose.
- 1997 Declarative abstention from the creation of new photographic works.
- 2006 Resumed taking pictures.
