Igor Savchenko’s photographic work can be classed as belonging to the type of visual activity that displays the persistence of an indefatigable researcher in interacting with the previous history of photography on the level of both technique and photographic theory. It is common knowledge that there is no single technical basis for photography, since at the very outset of its history several competing methods of producing a photographic print appeared.
