Bitter Lemon Press is an independent publisher specialising in crime fiction. Founded in London in 2003, this enterprise quickly made a name for itself amongst afficionados by offering a diverse selection of crime fiction. In addition to English language writers, Bitter Lemon Press publishes a wide variety of translated works, in particular from Europe and Latin America. For many of the prizewinning authors these translations have been the first to appear on the English language book market. These authors include Jörg Fauser (Germany), Alice Ferney (France) and Zygmunt Miloszewski (Poland).
