SelfMadeHero is a small independent publisher based in London. It was founded in 2007 by Emma Hayley and specialises in comics and graphic novels in particular. In addition to monographs such as short stories or giftbooks, it publishes several series such as Eye Clasics and Manga Shakespeare. In 2009 the publishing programme for crime fiction and biographical comics series was expanded. The new series Graphic Freud is planned for 2011.
