The opening ceremony was held in Vientiane Capital at the Department of Cinema and screenings were organized another five provinces: Attapeu, Sekong, Oudomxay, Luang Namtha, and Bokeo. In the provinces, the event was held at local schools over a period of five days. RIES and the Cinema Department were responsible for selecting schools to organize the event and coordinate with relevant authorities in the targeted provinces. Doklao Center and the Cinema Department selected ten films and translated and synchronized them into Lao.
