Science Film Festival in Indonesia 6th Edition
In 2015, the Science Film Festival in Indonesia was held on November 12 to 26 and was part of the German Season – an initiative of the Federal Foreign Office in Germany which was organised by the Goethe-Institut Indonesia, the German Embassy Jakarta and EKONID in cooperation with BOSCH, Hotel Indonesia Kempinski, BMW, Allianz, DB Schenker, Bayer, Ferrostaal, Lufthansa, Nivea, SAP and Siemens.
The event attracted 50 146 visitors from 21 cities in Indonesia. The festival traveled to Aceh, Ambon, Balikpapan, Bandung, Bogor, Depok, Jakarta, Makassar, Malang, Manado, Mataram, Medan, Nganjuk, Samarinda, Serang, Sidoarjo, Sumbawa, Surabaya, Tomohon, Tangerang, Waingapu and Yogyakarta.
The Sixth Science Film Festival Indonesia was organised with Allianz as a premium sponsor and made possible through the help of main partners such as the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, Institut Français Indonesia, Universitas Paramadina, PT. Kuark Internasional, Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana (UKSW), PASCH, Wisma Jerman and Pusat Peragaan IPTEK (Center for Science and Technology Exposure).
