Rwanda 1st Edition

The Goethe-Institut in Kigali hosted two screenings for 100 learners and members of the public at the Agahozo Shalom Youth Village in Rwanda between November 14 and 24. The institute received very positive feedback from its partner. The organizers stated that science and technology are perceived as very important fields in Rwanda and young people, especially women, are very much encouraged to get engaged in the sciences. As for the outlook to the future, it is hoped that in 2018, it will be possible to conduct the festival on a larger scale.
