Biography
Candaş Şişman was born in İzmir in 1985. After finishing the İzmir Anatolian Fine Arts High School he entered the Department of Animation in Eskişehir Anatolian University. During his undergraduate studies he spent a year in the Netherlands studying multimedia design education. In 2009 with friends he founded Silo 1 then in 2011 he founded the NOHlab studio with Deniz Kader.  Şişman has received many awards including an honorary mention from ARS ELECTRONİCA in the Computer Animation/ Film /VFX category and the Rome Viedram Festival best Video and Sound Design prize. He has participated in many important festivals such as the Nemo Digital Arts and Film Festival and the Offf İstanbul 2012. Şişman recently realized Yekpare projection mapping with Nerdworking within the Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture activities and gave a projection mapping audiovisual performance during the 2011 Sperm festival in Prague.
