What is media art? This is not an easy question to answer. The prevailing opinion varies widely, with different variants and combinations of definitions gaining the upper hand from time to time. Naturally, the really simplest way to define it would be to describe an artistic activity that avails itself of, or reflects, the media. In lay terms, this would refer to art in relation to film, television, video, radio, telephony, computers, the Internet, and even holography.
