Adam und Evelyn

Late summer 1989, holidays on Lake Balaton – suddenly, Hungary opens its border, and the forbidden West with all its temptations is within reach. Playing on the biblical myth of Adam and Eve, Ingo Schulze has produced a superb tragicomedy about prohibition, enlightenment and the search for true paradise.
