Following a big family quarrel, an old, slightly befuddled man joins his likewise very old friends on the village marketplace. To prove his sprightliness, he offers to get ice cream for himself and his friends. After that, and very much in tune with the world, the old man sets off on his last journey.

Biography: 1971: born in Dresden; 1990-1994: degree course in Acting at the Film & Television Academy “Konrad Wolf” (HFF); 1994-1999: member of the Berlin Ensemble; 1999-2001: degree course in Scriptwriting at the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin (dffb); currently working as a freelance author, actor and director. "Dead, At The Moment" is Thomas Wendrich’s debut as a director.
