Library Use

The Literatursalon is open to the public and the use of books, audio-visual media and information services is free of charge. Unfortunately we are no longer a lending library to the general public. However, we do lend books and videos/DVDs from the collection for educational purposes.

Lending Terms: For educational purposes only
Lending Period: 1 week
Proper ID is required - We require documentation that provides a permanent local address.
Renewals must be done in person. Video/DVDs may only be renewed once.

Once per year we receive new books from Germany which are on display and available for reading in the library. After one year we donate these books to the Boston Public Library where they circulate openly.
