Yearly test administration training courses are held for those who would like to keep their knowledge current or develop their exam proctoring skills. Every test center that administers Goethe-Institut exams must send at least one of their authorized proctors to participate in one of these educational seminars each year in order to maintain their status as an accredited test center. Upon request, the Goethe-Institut Chicago may offer supplementary educational options for exam proctors in addition to the regularly scheduled seminars.
Educators with qualifications at or above the level of Advanced Teaching Assistant (ABD) who teach at universities or colleges that are designated as Institutions with Authorization to Administer Tests (ImP’s) may take part in Proctor Seminars.
Proctor seminars will be held with at least 15 and no more than 25 registered participants. Housing and meals will be provided by the Goethe-Institut.
