The Goethe-Institut Chicago offers teachers of German in the Midwest (Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota und Wisconsin) many continuing education opportunities.

New materials, methodology and interesting examples of teaching are introduced in seminars and workshops. Through "learning by doing," seminar participants can appraise the need and efficacy of teaching materials during the seminars.

    European Adventures - Comic Competition

    Can you tell a story in German? Or in French? What about drawing? Can you draw a comic strip? The Goethe-Institut Chicago and the Cultural Service at the Consulate General of France in Chicago invite submissions for a comic competition.
