The Atlantic Academy aims to
strengthen ties between the citizens of Rhineland-Palatinate and the citizens of the American communities;
extend relations, which until now have been predominantly military in nature, through civil and cultural dimensions;
cultivate German citizens’ knowledge about American politics, society, and culture;
improve American citizens’ knowledge about German and American politics;
discuss common socio-political challenges and look for solutions;
sustain the consciousness of the citizens of the Northern Atlantic community and strengthen it.
