About Us

Who are we?
We are the Todo-Alemán-Team, who are here to promote the German language and culture around the world. And we are here to listen to you. As you navigate through the website, you will find all kinds of opportunities for you to participate and to give us feedback so that we can make Todo Alemán the most interesting place for you.

Where is the Todo-Alemán-Office?
It’s a secret. Want to guess?

Why is there a website like this one?
There are many reasons for this website. The first reason is to introduce you to the richness of the German culture in all its aspects, including soccer, travel and language. The second reason is to convince you that German is the perfect language for you to learn. It´s not important whether you take German as your first foreign language or as one of many. It is our wish that you will love the German language as much as we do. And finally, we wanted to create a community for you to meet other people who love German, learn German and use the language in class, outside of class and wherever you are!

What does the website’s name mean?
The website is called Todo Alemán, which means “Everything German” ... if you speak Spanish. Or it could mean “to do Alemán”, just do German! (It is definitely not “ale-man”, although Germans are known for their habit to drink beer). It is just another example of how we here at Todo Alemán Headquarters embrace all cultures and languages and all of our language speakers. Do you only speak Spanish? Or only English? Both? It doesn’t matter – German is perfect for you!

What is the Goethe-Institut?
The Goethe-Institut is the official agency in order to promote the German language and culture throughout the world.

Why do we think you should join?
You should join because you want to meet other people your age from around the world who are also interested in German, love German or live in Germany. Just think of the endless possibilities – make new friends, meet new people and show your creativity by participating in our projects, everything within our worldwide language-learning- community. Have fun!
