Contest

Dear Students of German,

thank you so much for participating in the 2013 Step into German video contest. We received 216 entries – a new Step into German record! After we selected our twenty favorites it was up to you to vote for your TOP 5 clips.

The jury deliberated for a long time on the merits of the TOP 5 videos. Each clip was wonderful in its own right but unfortunately there can be only one Grand Prize winner. We’re convinced that by selecting “Warum?” we’ve chosen a video that stands for everything the Step into German contest is about: it’s creative, funny, and plays wonderfully with the German language.

THE PRIZES  

The Grand Prize
A three-week language course at a Goethe-Institut in Germany, including airfare, accommodation and tuition. If two students produced the winning video, both will get to fly to Germany. Spend your summer away from your parents, and get to know people your age from many different countries. See for yourself what life in Germany is like.
