Peilomat - Großstadtkinder
Peilomat are three guys from Hamburg who accept no compromises. Their songs are honest, direct and authentic. They use a language that their fans can relate to. Check out their first album „Großstadtkinder” (Big City Kids), or one of their unforgettable live shows, and you know why Peilomat rocks!
Hennich Marien (drums), Sebi Wagner (bass) and Flo Peil (vocals) have been playing in clubs all over Germany since 2004. Flo is from Cologne where he worked as a solo artist and producer. Hennich and Sebi studied together at the Pop Academy in Mannheim. The three met at a workskop in Hamburg. They liked each other, but, even more importantly, they liked each other’s music. And they decided to form Peilomat.
In 2007 the band released their debut album “Großstadtkinder” and played at a number of open air festivals. Peilomat was the opening act for Tokio Hotel before they went on their first big tour through Germany.
In 2008 Peilomat participated in one of Germany’s major music competitions, the “Bundesvision Song Contest” representing the federal state of Rheinland-Pfalz (Rhineland-Palatinate). On the occasion of the European soccer championships they released the song “Alleman” which made it to #26 on the German single charts.
