Defending Champions: "ANAHEIM STURM UND DRANG"

This German Extravaganza will take place in Pleasanton, a 45-minute drive east of San Francisco, on May 7, 2005. Sightseeing, music, prize drawings, star player appearances and lots of soccer will be waiting for you. An 11-day, all-expense paid trip to Germany will be at stake in the tournament.

The winners of our regional tournaments will compete with teams from Northern California and Nevada. Each participating team is guaranteed three games. The four best teams qualify for the semi-finals, the two winners for the Championship Game.

THE GRAND PRIZE
Congratulations: "EVERETT BÄREN"
14 players of the winning team and two chaperons will be awarded the grand prize of the Transatlantic Soccer Bridge: A free trip to Germany. The team will leave Los Angeles on June 20, 2005 and return on July 1. In Germany the student-athletes will stay at "Sportschule Schöneck" in Karlsruhe, one of Germany's finest soccer academies located above Karlsruhe on the border of the Black Forest. Here the students will practice soccer with some of Germany's top youth soccer coaches and compete with German youth teams.

But there is going to be a lot more than soccer. The students will explore the state of Baden-Württemberg, plant trees in the Black Forest, visit Heidelberg and its medieval castle, relax in the luxurious spa of Baden-Baden and return home with broken hearts and unforgettable memories.
