Deutsch am Mittag
During this series, participants are invited to bring their lunch and join us for a presentation and discussion in German only. After twenty minutes for lunch, a topic of interest from German culture, history, or contemporary affairs will be presented (15-20 minutes), in German, by a selected speaker. Discussion on the topic will take up the last 20 to 30 minutes of the Mittagstisch.
Led by Irmgard Wagner (professor emerita of German from George Mason University), Deutsch am Mittag is open to all who wish to hear or speak German.
Tickets are $6 ($4 for members, seniors and students with ID).
Beverages and sweets are provided.
