Intermediate German B1.1 - B1.3
June - August 2012
9 weeks
Goethe-Institut Washington
After completing the B1 level, students can understand the main points of discussions and texts on familiar matters regularly encountered at work, school, leisure, etc. They can deal with most situations likely to arise while traveling in an area where the language is spoken. Students will be able to produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest and can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.
The Goethe-Institut in Washington offers several courses at the B1 level, including the three progressively structured sub-levels, Intermediate German B1.1, B1.2 and B1.3. Due to the number of students at this level, we are not always able to offer all sub-levels every session.
*New students pay a one-time registration fee of $20. Payment of registration and/or course fees assumes acceptance of our Terms and Conditions. Early-bird prices ($400/$300) are valid until 19 May 2012, after which prices return to $445/$425/$320.
