Reception with DJ will follow at the Goethe-Institut (812 Seventh Street, between H and I Streets) featuring complimentary beer from Gordon Biersch, German wine, Bionade drinks, and food provided by the Embassy of Switzerland, Old Europe Restaurant, Cafe Mozart, Heidelberg Pastry Shoppe, Whole Foods Market, and the Swiss Bakery and Pastry Shop.

Saturday, January 24 & Sunday, January 25
A discussion with teacher, writer and musician Ron Jones, whose real-life experiment in a 1967 California classroom inspired The Wave, will follow after both screenings.

Reception with Swiss champagne, wine and Swiss chocolates takes place between the two screenings of The Friend from 8:30 - 9:15 pm.

Berlin Party at the Goethe-Institut will feature culinary specialties from Berlin: Currywurst (curried sausage), Berliner Weiße (wheat beer), Buletten (meatballs), Berliner (doughnut with a jam filling) and Kartoffelpuffer (potato pancake).
