Selected Recent Acclaim for the English Translation
Booklist: "Funeral for a Dog is challenging reading, but it is sure to make waves with U.S. audiences, just as it did when originally published in Germany in 2008."
Guardian: "The best German-language novel published in English this spring."
The New York Times: "It is relatively rare for contemporary German fiction to be translated into English, and unreservedly rare for a first novel by a young and largely unknown German writer to be published with such fanfare."
