Dr. Wolfgang Müller-Funk is a learned Austrian Literature and Cultural Scientist. He studied German, History, Philosophy and Spanish at the University of Munich. Since 1993, Dr. Müller-Funk has been teaching at the Universities of Vienna and Klagenfurt. From 1998 - 2002 he was Professor for German Studies at the University of Birmingham. Currently, he is Professor for Cultural Studies at the University of Vienna.

Wolfgang Müller-Funk's lecture is entitled 'The Portrayal of America through Austrian Literature'.
