New Rules for StudentsSince Jan 1, 2007 new rules regarding issuance of visas for students wishing to study in Germany have been in effect. The newly established Academic Inspection Center (APS) at the German Embassy is now the first stop for students. Here all documents will be checked and an interview with German authorties conducted. The interview can take place in either German or English on the condition that the applicant has a good basic knowledge of the language.
