During COP17, German Artists Eva Meyer-Keller and Sybille Müller together with their team Rico Repotente and Florian Bach will create the performance sound project "Building after Catastrophes". Facilitating a workshop with local children, they will orchestrate the sounds of earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, floods, hurricanes and melting glaciers with daily objects.

Besides creating the soundmodels, they will engage the children in talks about their visions of the future, which will be incorporated as text fragments into the performance. The approx. 40 minute performance will showcase the models of catastrophes chosen by the children. The event is free of charge.

At 7pm, after the perfomance, a film screening on the topic of climate change will follow. Details about the film will be announced on our website. Admission is free.
