National Library of South Africa
The South African Library in Cape Town and the State Library in Pretoria united and formed the new National Library of South Africa, in 1999. Both locations remained in use but the central management is run from Pretoria.
Parliament of South Africa – Library and Information Unit
The South African parliament meets alternately in Pretoria and Cape Town; the Parliament Library is situated in Cape Town.
