1963-67 Apprenticeship as industrial merchant

1967-69 Studied Painting and Graphics at the Munich Academy for Graphic Trade

from 1970 Self-employed graphic artist and caricaturist for the Munich city magazine Blatt

from 1978 Numerous study trips to the USA

1990 Max-und-Moritz-Prize of the International Comic-Salon Erlangen as best German comic artist

from 1998 Author and script writer

from 1999 Worked in Namibia and Switzerland

2007 Wilhelm-Busch-Prize

Lives in Berlin
