As a rule, people who have Dornbracht tap units don't usually get their hands dirty. If they do, however, (from gardening, changing the oil in their Jaguars, or cleaning truffles), this infrared fitting is activated when they approach. Since it is never touched, the tap itself always stays clean. Clever idea.
