This chair is already being dubbed a classic. But why? It is just three years old. Perhaps because it is in the Metropolitan Museum. Perhaps, too, because the demand for the chair has been growing steadily ever since it was revealed that Brad Pitt has put thirty of them next to his swimming pool - if you can't look like Brad, then you can at least sit like he does. The chair's surface imitates human skin. That, anyway, is an innovation rather than a classic element.
