Monuments of German design

The Faber-Castell company manufactures 1.8 billion pencils each year. The most beautiful of them all is the hexagonal-section "Castell 9000" pencil in hunter's green with a touch of gold. The only drawback is that when you have been thinking hard, the pencil leaves little green splinters of paint on your teeth.
