The juries in the eleven countries participating in the “Gestures of Reconciliation” short film competition received a total of 248 treatments, out of which 48 projects were chosen and realized. The respective national juries then selected the three prize-winning films for each country. The three prizes are endowed with € 3,000 for first, € 2,000 for second and € 1,000 for third place.
The winners of the first prizes from the eleven countries received their awards during the opening ceremony of the Munich International Festival of Film Schools and were invited to attend the festival together with their professors.
All winning films were screened in a special programme on Saturday, 19 November 2005.
