The juries of the 11 countries participating in the contest received a total of 248 exposes. 53 submissions were selected to be made into films.
Upon completion of the films, the jury from each of the eleven participating countries selected the first three winners.
The winners from all eleven countries were given the opportunity to present their films at the International Festival of Film Schools Munich in November 2005.
In the tv program of January 19th 2007 the Deutsche Welle featured the project "Gestures of Reconciliation".
Clippings of three of the awarded shortfilms were broadcasted in "KINO - The German Filme Magazine" of Deutsche Welle.
